AP PhysicsAP Physics 1 and 2 are new courses that have replaced AP Physics B. The emphasis is no longer on mathematical manipulation but on conceptual understanding. Students will focus primarily on algebra-based mechanics.

PhysicsPhysics is a synthesis course that requires mastery of algebra, trigonometry, reading, and the scientific method. Students will investigate motion, forces, conservation laws, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism. This physics class is taught as a college preparatory class and is designed to challenge students.
